Unusual Japanese umbrella pine.

This evergreen conifer is grown for its delicate but bold foliage which adds to the tropical garden.  Will grow into a large specimen over time but is very slow growing.  Sports decorative cones in late summer.

Drought tolerant.  Prefers acid to neutral soil.
