Polemonium ‘Bressingham Purple’ (Jacob’s Ladder), 2 Litre Pot

This is a compact variety that features purple tinted, green leaves and burgundy stems with clusters of slightly fragrant cobalt-blue flowers.  Leaves appear ladder-like in strcuture, hence the common name.

Prefers cool partial shade in the hottest summer months, with free-draining soil or compost.  Prefers rich, humusy, consistently moist soils that do no dry out.

A hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside, especially if protected from the hardest frosts.
