200-250cm, rootballed hedge plant, for instant, tall hedging.

Green Privet has lustrous, dark-green foliage.   A semi-evergreen hedging species, Ligustrum ovalifolium has stunning oval leaves that clip beautifully, to create a dense and neat form that thrives in most soil conditions and position.

A popular choice for hedging, being a fast-growing shrub.  Ideal for garden screening, windproofing and noise reduction, as well as being tolerant of pollution, making it the perfect hedging choice for built-up, urban areas.

Planting

The plants should be planted and thoroughly watered as soon as possible after delivery, to avoid drying out.  Rootballed plants should be planted with the hessian sack still in place (the hessian will rot away in the ground).  Do not remove this hessian sack.

Feeding & Aftercare

We recommend to plant with Westland Bone Meal (which acts as a root stimulant) and 6X Fertiliser (a long acting fertiliser). The plants should also be fed from Springtime onwards with Chempak No. 2.
