Garrya Elliptica (Silk Tassel Bush)

Attractive shrub with grey-green leaves retained all year which form a perfect background for the long, hanging, grey green catkins which are produced in Winter and early Apring.

A useful & attractive winter shrub.  Can be planted free-standing or as a specimen.  Good for mixed or shrub borders.  Ideal planted and trained against a wall or trellis where it has extra protection.
